Thank you to all who have renewed their camping reservation for the 17th Annual Lakes Bluegrass Festival August 23 – 27, 2023! The window for renewing campsites closed on November 1st for those who had priority to do so (had that site reserved prior to the start of the 2022 Lakes Bluegrass Festival). If you had priority to renew but did not do so, the site you had will now be made available to those who are waiting for a site.
We are now processing the waiting list for those who signed up as one of the following:
We will contact you when we get to your name as we process the list to reserve available sites.
If you haven’t done so already, please sign up on our waiting list to get in line for a camp site or to upgrade your existing site for the 17th Annual Lakes Bluegrass Festival August 23 – 27, 2023 .
Please call 866-620-4727 and leave a message or send an email to info@lakesbluegrassfestival.com if you have any questions
Any camping reservation is a contractual agreement between you and us. When we reserve a campsite for you, we actually take it off the market for the time-frame you reserved. Even though we may have subsequent requests from other perspective campers for your site on those dates, we save the site just for you – even if it means turning those other customers away.
In fairness to all of our campers and to keep prices affordable, all of our Reservation, Payment and Cancellation/Refund policies will be enforced.
By making a reservation online or by phone you agree to these policies as explained below.
RESERVATION POLICY: Those who have a reserved site in advance of the current year festival will have the first option to renew that same site for the following year festival. Those who get an open site only get first option to renew that site for the following year if there isn’t already somebody with first option on it due to an emergency cancellation. A renewal may be made during the stated reservation renewal time window
at the current year festival or up through the date stated that the renewal window will remain open –
generally a few months beyond the end of the current year festival. If renewal is not completed during the renewal window, the site will be made available first to those on the waiting list (see below) for a site and subsequently to others on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Waiting List: There is a form on the Camping page on the website (www.lakesbgprod.wpengine.com)
where you can get on the waiting list for a campsite.
Non-Electric reservable – anybody can put their name on the list waiting for one of these.
Electric – You must have already purchased or renewed a Non-Electric site to be put on the list waiting for an Electric site.
Changing Sites – Sites may be changed provided you have already reserved a similar site (Non-Electric or Electric). Requests to change sites will be processed in the order received and will be honored if a site is or becomes available.
PRICING AND PAYMENT POLICY: Payment in full is due at time of reservation for all campsites.
A $2 processing fee will be added to each reservation
Electrical Reserved (20, 30 or 50 amp) – Four night minimum stay: $45/night
Non-Electrical Reserved Three night minimum stay: $35/night
Primitive (No Electric/Not Reserved) Two night minimum stay: $25/night
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: Reservations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable. Reservations made prior to 30 days of arrival are non-refundable except in the case of an emergency. Primitive campsites are non-refundable. No refunds will be given based on weather conditions. Cancellation/Refund requests must be submitted by calling 844-620-GRAS (4727) or emailing info@lakesbluegrassfestival.com to provide the reason for the emergency.
If cancellation is due to an emergency, any refund or reservation rollover will be at the discretion of Management considering the nature of the emergency. If Cancellation/Refund/Rollover is approved by Management, the following guidelines will apply.
Electrical and Non-Electrical reservable campsites – If an emergency cancellation is approved, you may rollover your current year full payment to renew your same site for the following year Lakes Bluegrass Festival or request a refund. Either option requires a $50.00 administrative fee.
a. If you choose to renew for the following year, Management reserves the right to put somebody else in that site for the current year but you will retain the site for the following year. A $50 administrative fee and any increase in camping rates for the following year will be charged.
b. If you request the refund, you lose having first option to renew that same site for the following year festival. You will be notified after the festival whether your site was able to be filled for the current year. If Management was able to put another camper in the site you had reserved, you will receive a refund minus a $50 administrative fee. If the site was not able to be filled, you will receive a 50% refund.
Campsite modifications Disclaimer – As the Lakes Music and Events Park continues to be developed, Management reserves the right to modify campsites and reservations as needed from year to year. Every attempt will be made to minimize disruption to reservations or to find a suitable replacement site if possible.
